KPCC Member Booked for Sexual Assault

Thamarassery: Thamarassery Police have registered a case against A Aravindhan, a KPCC member and former President of Thamarassery Panchayat, following a complaint filed by a female contract employee working at a panchayat-owned establishment.

The institution where the complainant works was set up during Aravindhan's tenure as panchayat president. According to the complaint, when the woman approached Aravindhan seeking renewal of her contract, he summoned her to his residence and sexually assaulted her.

The case has been registered under sections relating to sexual assault and attempt to outrage modesty.
