Students to Explore the City Through Free City Ride

Thiruvananthapuram: As part of the 4th edition of the Kerala Legislature International Book Festival (KLIBF), free KSRTC city ride services have been arranged for students to explore the capital city. The service was inaugurated by Transport Minister K B Ganesh Kumar.
The city ride services will operate from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. Starting from in front of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, the route will cover Mascot Hotel, LMS, Museum, Kanakakunnu, Vellayambalam, Gurudeva Park, Corporation Office, and Fine Arts College before returning to the starting point.
Immediately after the inauguration, the service commenced with students from various schools participating in the ride.
Speaking after the inauguration, Minister Ganesh Kumar said that the Legislature Book Festival has emerged as an idea that has drawn attention across India and has become a matter of pride for the state and for every Malayali. He added that the festival has grown into a major initiative to promote reading habits and to introduce books and writers to the public, and expressed happiness at being part of the event.
