CM Pinarayi Vijayan Visits Veena George At Hospital Following Assault by KSU Activists

Kannur: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan visited Health Minister Veena George, who is undergoing treatment following an attack by activists of KSU.

The Chief Minister met the minister at Kannur District Hospital, where she is receiving medical care. According to reports, the minister sustained injuries to her neck and hand during the incident.

The attack took place on Wednesday evening at the Kannur railway station. Veena George was returning after attending the inauguration of the Kaliyad International Ayurveda Research Centre when the incident occurred.

As she arrived on the railway platform, KSU members rushed toward her, grabbed her hand, and pushed her. She was immediately taken to the district hospital for treatment. Medical sources said she suffered injuries to her neck and hand but is currently under observation.
