Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that the early loss of leaders who were “meant to stay with us longer" caused him deep anguish, recalling in particular the passing of Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. He described the loss as personally painful.
The Chief Minister made the remarks in an interview titled ‘Iruvar’ hosted by actor Mohanlal.
“AKG Is My Inspiration”
During the conversation, the Kerala CM said he fears only the party and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to it. He named A K Gopalan (AKG) as his inspiration, adding that despite many attempts by several elements to discourage him over the years, he has remained steadfast.
He also said he harbours no hatred toward those who disagree with him and believes that people listened to what he says.
