Pinarayi Vijayan Congratulates Tamil Nadu CM Vijay After He Assumes Office

Thiruvananthapuram: Pinarayi Vijayan has extended warm congratulations to C Joseph Vijay following his election as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

In a statement issued, the senior CPI(M) leader said he was confident that the trust placed in Vijay by the people of Tamil Nadu would translate into a government committed to social justice, secularism, and public welfare.

Pinarayi Vijayan noted that the mandate given by the people carries a great democratic responsibility and expressed hope that the new administration would uphold progressive and inclusive values in governance.

Politburo member also highlighted the long-standing cultural and political ties between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, stating that both States would continue to work together to strengthen federalism and safeguard secular principles in the country.
