Peral Ward Residents Thank Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan for Increasing Welfare Pensions to ₹2000

Kollam: "We are receiving pensions regularly. Thanks to Chief Minister and the LDF government for increasing this to rupess 2000." These are the words from a letter sent to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan by residents of Peral Ward in Paravoor Municipality.
Expressing their gratitude for the increase in welfare pensions, the residents of Peral ward sent a thank-you letter to the Chief Minister.

During house visits, Councillor L. Deepa, CPI(M) branch secretary Ajayan, DYFI district joint secretary M. Harikrishnan, SFI area president Mithun, and CPI(M) workers Jayakumar, Ponnamma Babu, and Ashwathi met with the residents, who shared their heartfelt appreciation for the government’s decision to raise the pension amount.

So far, around 150 letters have been sent from Peral ward to the Chief Minister. About 260 people receive various types of pensions in the Peral ward. Other pension beneficiaries have also said they will send letters to the Chief Minister and the government through the Paravur Post Office in the coming days.
