P Rajeev Hits Back at Rahul Gandhi Over Parody Song Attack

Kochi: Minister P Rajeev has responded sharply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who had sung a parody song targeting the Kerala government. Reacting during an election program on a news channel, Rajeev said that before raising any other issue, Rahul Gandhi must first explain how the person who stole the gold, the person who sold it, and the person who bought it all ended up at Sonia Gandhi's residence at the same time.

"Rahul Gandhi is not just a political leader — he is also Sonia Gandhi's son," Rajeev said pointedly. "Nobody has explained to this day how the thief, the seller, and the buyer of that gold all converged on Sonia Gandhi's home. That mystery remains unresolved, and that is precisely what Rahul Gandhi needs to clarify first."

Rajeev also noted that it was during the tenure of Rahul Gandhi's constant companion that the Sabarimala gold theft took place. "The people know the true story behind the Sabarimala gold heist," he said. "The Congress has nothing credible to put before the public." He acknowledged that there may be certain issues with ten years of governance, but stated that the government has been addressing each one with detailed and accountable responses. The Congress's attempt to deflect attention by raking up issues like the gold theft, he said, will not work with the people of Kerala.
