Mundakkai–Chooralmala Township: Beneficiaries Complete All Registrations on the Spot

Meppadi: Following the house allotment draw for the Mundakkai–Chooralmala township, authorities ensured that all essential ownership and utility registrations were completed in real time. Five departmental counters were set up to provide a one-stop service for the beneficiaries.

Once the zone, cluster, and plot numbers were determined through the lottery, title deed registration was completed at revenue department counter. Following this, ownership registration was completed at the Kalpetta municipality counter. KSEB, Irrigation department, and Civil supplies department counters were also set up to help beneficiaries with electricity connection application, drinking water connect application and ration card registration.

The District Collector announced that the government would cover service charges, including title deed registration and related services, for the first three months.

This integrated approach allowed beneficiaries to complete all essential formalities in one location, eliminating the need to visit multiple offices and ensuring a smooth transition into their new homes.
