Mohanlal Honours Aalin Sherin, Kerala's Youngest Organ Donor

Kochi: Film actor Mohanlal has shared a heartfelt note in memory of Aalin Sherin Abraham, the youngest organ donor in the state’s history.

Alin was declared brain dead on Thursday, and her parents made the courageous decision to donate her organs. In a heartening act of altruism, they agreed to donate Alin’s liver, two kidneys, a heart valve, and other organs, providing a new lease on life to five individuals. Alin’s organ donation set a new milestone, as she became the youngest organ donor in Kerala’s history.

He wrote that this little angel, Aalin Sherin, left this world by giving fellow tiny beings the hope of a new life.The parents of Aalin, Arun and Sherin, who decided to donate her organs, have become shining examples of human compassion. The world remains beautiful precisely because of the radiance of such selfless acts of love. Aalin will continue to live not only in the memories of her loved ones but also in the hearts of millions of people.
