Thiruvananthapuram: Milma's revised milk prices have come into effect from today, with the standard one-litre pack rising by ₹4 to ₹56. Milma Smart milk is now priced at ₹54 per litre. Prices of associated dairy products including curd, ghee, and peda will also increase proportionately, with curd rising by ₹10 per kg. The previous price revision was carried out in August last year.

The revised rates across Milma variants are as follows: Milma Smart (yellow pack, 500ml) — ₹27; Milma Prime (blue pack, 500ml) — ₹30; Milma Pride (orange pack, 500ml) — ₹30; Milma Rich (green pack, 500ml) — ₹32; Cow Milk one-litre bottle — ₹75; Curd Classic — ₹40; Curd Elite — ₹45.

Of the ₹4 hike, 83.75 percent — amounting to ₹3.33 per litre — will be passed on directly to farmers. The remaining amount will be distributed as follows: 6.25 percent each to dairy cooperative societies and dealers, 2.5 percent to Milma, 0.75 percent to the Farmer Welfare Fund, and 0.5 percent towards plastic waste management.
