Govt Will Stand by the Survivor, Says Minister Saji Cheriyan After Verdict on Actress Attack Case

Thiruvananthapuram: "Despite the verdict, the LDF government will standby the survivor," says Minister Saji Cheriyan. He told media that government will make decisions on further movement after analysing the judgement.

The Minister for Cultural and Youth Affairs also shared that the government's stance is to make sure the accused will be punished, no matter how influential they are. "We stand with women. This government will always support the survivors. The government's stance has always been to stand beside the survivor," he reiterated.
