KT Jaleel Slams Muslim League Leadership Over PM SHRI Scheme, Liquor Tax Cut

Thiruvananthapuram: KT Jaleel has launched a sharp attack on the Muslim League leadership for welcoming with open arms both the UDF government's implementation of the PM SHRI scheme and its tax concession on low-strength liquor. "O Qazis, has low-strength liquor become halal?" Jaleel wrote on Facebook.
"Where are the League's brave young men? Despite having 22 MLAs, Uppi Sahib couldn't even get a single successor to say 'no' in the Keralam Assembly. What a pity! This silence will be written in golden letters in the history of the Muslim League! PM SHRI, ready! Low-strength liquor at a reduced price, ready too! What more does the community and the state need to be proud of! Rejoice, O minority community!" Jaleel wrote.

Team UDF has cut the tax on low-strength liquor. Now you can drink as much low-strength liquor as you like. This is the reciprocal favour for the crores that flowed to UDF candidates from Karnataka during election season!!! O Sayyids! O Qazis, since when did low-strength liquor become halal (permissible) in religion? No religious organisation has a single complaint. No religious leader has been heard preaching about this in mosques on a Friday or a Sunday.
Anyway, what privileges the UDF enjoys. Religious leaders and heads of religious institutions seem to be competing with each other to provide cover and support for their misdeeds and corruption! Even the liquor-prohibition committee folks and Iyyachery are in a deep slumber. Religious edicts congratulating the UDF government for showing such 'magnanimity' in its very first budget will soon emerge from the mosque chambers and from the Qazi's residence in Kozhikode!
