KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell to Arrange Trips for Navy Day Demonstration

Thiruvananthapuram: As part of the Navy Day celebrations, the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will operate special transportation services to help the public attend the naval demonstration in the state capital. The display, scheduled to begin at 4 PM on December 3 at Shangumugham, will be accessible via specially arranged trips from multiple districts under KSRTC’s Budget Tourism Cell.

President Droupadi Murmu will attend the event as the chief guest. The programme will showcase the Indian Navy’s combat readiness and operational capability. The aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, along with warships, submarines, fighter aircraft, and advanced weapon systems, will take part in the “Operation Demo,” offering a striking visual performance across both the sea and sky at Shangumugham. Organizers said that preparations are progressing efficiently with complete support from the state government.

In addition to viewing the naval display, KSRTC’s Budget Tourism Cell is offering visitors the option to tour major tourist destinations across the Thiruvananthapuram district.
