Kozhikode Valiyangadi: Concrete Slab Collapses, Three Dead in Accident

Kozhikode: Three workers died after a concrete slab collapsed in Valiyangadi, Kozhikode. The deceased have been identified as Jabbar, Ashraf, and Basheer. The accident occurred at 12:30 pm on Monday while the workers were resting. Vinod and Koya were injured and have been shifted to the hospital.

The collapsed building was the old passport building near the beach. Five people were trapped in the ruins. While they were all shifted to the hospital, two deaths have been confirmed, and two others sustained injuries that are not serious. The victims were headload workers.
