Kerala Savari Operates 4,000 Free Shuttle Trips at 30th IFFK

Thiruvananthapuram: Shuttle services arranged by Kerala Savari at the 30th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) received an overwhelming response from delegates and film enthusiasts. Kerala Savari, the government-run online taxi service under the Labour Department and the official mobility partner of the festival, operated around 4,000 free trips during the festival period, benefiting a total of 8,400 passengers.
On average, about 400 free shuttle services were operated daily, with nearly 1,200 delegates using the service each day. A dedicated fleet comprising 17 auto-rickshaws and four cabs was deployed exclusively for festival duties.
Vehicles were kept ready immediately after screenings at theatres, offering much-needed relief to delegates rushing to other venues for subsequent shows. The timely and transparent nature of the services made inter-venue travel significantly more convenient.
The free shuttle services connected major festival venues including Tagore, Nishagandhi, and Kairali–Sree theatres, earning widespread appreciation from delegates for their efficiency and reliability.
