Kerala PSC Crosses 35,000 Appointment Recommendations in 2025

Thiruvananthapuram: The number of appointment recommendations issued by the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) this year has crossed 35,000. With this, the PSC has achieved the rare feat of issuing more than 30,000 appointment recommendations for the third consecutive year. So far, 35,004 candidates have been recommended for various posts in 2025.

The increase in appointments is attributed to the creation of new posts in essential sectors and the accurate reporting of existing vacancies by departments. In 2024, the PSC recommended 34,194 candidates, while the number stood at 34,110 in 2023.

Since the LDF government assumed office nine and a half years ago, the total number of PSC appointment recommendations has exceeded three lakhs.
