Thiruvananthapuram: Higher Education and Social Justice Minister Dr. R Bindu announced that a job fair for differently-abled job seekers will be organized as part of the state-level arts festival ‘Savishesha – Carnival of the Different’. The carnival will be held in Thiruvananthapuram from January 19 to 21, with the job fest taking place on January 20 at Vazhuthacaud Government Women’s College.

The job fair will run from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and will feature various employers from across the state. The main goal is to provide employment opportunities for differently-abled individuals while promoting empowerment and social inclusion of the differently-abled community in Kerala.

The event is organized in collaboration with government bodies such as the Department of Employment and Skill Development, Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission, and Knowledge Kerala, along with private sector partners.

Differently-abled job seekers can register online at sjd.kerala.gov.in or through the District Social Justice Officer. For more details, contact 0471-2306040. According to the minister, the state-level job fair aims to ensure that the maximum number of differently-abled participants find employment suited to their skills.
