Major IAS Reshuffle in Keralam; Key Postings Across Departments

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has effected a sweeping reshuffle of IAS officers, making significant postings across departments, secretariat positions, and public sector undertakings.

B. Ashok, who has returned to service following the revocation of his suspension, has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department. N. Prashant has been posted as Special Secretary of the Sports Department and will additionally hold charge of the Youth Affairs, Zoo, and Museum departments. Additional Chief Secretary Bishwanath Sinha has been given additional charge of the Coir Development and Housing departments.K R Jyothi Lal will carry additional charge of the Planning Board. Sharmila Mary Joseph has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Health Department. Raju Narayan Swamy takes charge as Principal Secretary of the Sainik Welfare Department.

T V Anupama will serve as Transport Secretary. Divya S Iyer has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Local Self-Government Department. Adeela Abdullah will serve as Special Secretary of the Public Works Department. D Sajith Babu has been appointed Special Secretary of the General Education Department and will additionally hold charge of the Minority Welfare Department.

K Biju will head the Forest Department as its Secretary. Minhaj Alam has been appointed Additional Secretary of the Agriculture Department. K Jeevan Babu will serve as Special Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, and S Suhas as Special Secretary of the Water Resources Department. Shanawas S has been named Special Secretary of the Local Self-Government Department. Rattan U Khelkar has been given additional charge as Secretary of the Department of Ports. Seeram Sambasiva Rao has been given additional charge of the IT Department.
