Kerala Signs Rs 850 Crore FDI Deal with UAE Company for Technopark Phase III

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday said that a Letter of Intent (LoI) has been signed with a UAE-based company for an Rs 850 crore FDI in Technopark phase III here. Pinarayi Vijayan in a post on 'X' said that the LoI was signed with UAE-based Al Marzooqi Holdings FZC for the Meridian Tech Park project.


The project, planned in Technopark Phase III, has been designed to promote sustainability and collaboration. According to the CM, it will create over 10,000 jobs and serve as a symbol of Kerala’s vertical growth and expanding global presence.


Pinarayi Vijayan said the Meridian Tech Park will strengthen Kerala’s journey toward becoming a global innovation hub. In a later Facebook post, he described the project as a new milestone in the state’s technological advancement, emphasizing its impact on both the IT sector and employment opportunities in Kerala.


The CM added that the campus will include an AI laboratory, enabling even small companies to leverage artificial intelligence for business and innovation, further boosting the state’s IT capabilities.
