Kerala Congress (M) Announces 12 Candidates for Kerala Assembly Election

Kottayam: The Kerala Congress (M) has announced its list of candidates for the upcoming 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly election. The party will contest in 12 constituencies across the state.

The constituencies where Kerala Congress (M) will field candidates include Pala, Idukki, Kanjirappally, Changanassery, Poonjar, Chalakudy, Ranni, Thodupuzha, Piravom, Irikur, Kaduthuruthy and Perumbavoor.

Kanjirappally – N. Jayaraj

Changanassery – Job Michael

Poonjar – Sebastian Kulathunkal

Chalakudy – Biju Chirayath

Ranni – Pramod Narayan

Piravom – Sabu K. Jacob

Election Schedule

Polling in Kerala will be held on April 9, while the vote counting will take place on May 4.

Along with Kerala, assembly elections will also be conducted in Puducherry and Assam on the same day. In Tamil Nadu, polling is scheduled for April 23, while West Bengal will go to the polls in two phases on April 23 and April 29.
