Kamal Haasan Wishes LDF, Pinarayi Vijayan Luck as Kerala Assembly Elections Kick Off

Thiruvananthapuram: As Kerala heads to the assembly elections, superstar Kamal Haasan has extended his best wishes to the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He said that he has a deep emotional connection with Kerala and urged all Keralites to evaluate the past ten years of government and make the right decision, Kamal Haasan wrote in a social media post.

The LDF has announced its candidates, and the campaign trails are already bustling. Moments after the assembly elections were announced on Sunday, the CPI(M) and CPI declared their candidates. Soon after, roadshows were held across rearranged constituencies. On Monday, the candidate lists of other constituent parties were released. The LDF has now announced candidates for 127 seats.
