Jose K Mani Dismisses Alliance Shift Rumours, Says Kerala Congress (M) Firmly with LDF

Kottayam: Kerala Congress (M) Chairman Jose K Mani has said that recent reports and discussions about the party’s political position are baseless, asserting that the party remains firmly with the LDF. Speaking to the media in Kottayam, he said there was no reason for anyone to “worry or shed tears” over Kerala Congress (M).

Questioning the sudden emergence of speculation about a possible alliance shift, Jose K Mani asked who was driving such discussions. He reiterated that the party has repeatedly and clearly stated that its political stance is aligned with the Left. “There is no need to repeat this every day,” he said.

He recalled that Kerala Congress (M) was expelled from the UDF, after which the party took a conscious and firm decision to stand with the LDF. “We are happy in the LDF,” he added.

Dismissing reports of internal dissent, he said there is no division within the party, and that all five MLAs are united. He also questioned why Kerala Congress (M) is being blamed if others express a desire to align with the party.
