Kozhikode: The Indian National League (INL) has alleged that the Kerala High Court's order freezing the functioning of the Waqf Board was the result of a conspiracy involving the Congress, the Muslim League and the BJP.

The party demanded that the Muslim League clarify its stand on supporting the petition filed by BJP leader Shaun George, which led to the court proceedings.

INL also criticised Minister Shamsuddeen's claim that the previous Left government had not constituted the Waqf Board in accordance with the law, describing the argument as "childish."

State President Ahmed Devarkovil and General Secretary Kasim Irikkur alleged that the High Court's decision was the outcome of Chief Minister V D Satheesan's efforts to hand over the Munambam land to what they described as an encroachment mafia after allegedly facilitating the takeover of the property.
