C J Roy Targeted After Death, Says Confident Group MD T A Joseph

Kochi: Confident Group Chairman C J Roy is being unfairly targeted even after his death, alleged Group Managing Director T A Joseph. Addressing a press conference, Joseph accused certain YouTubers of conducting a malicious campaign against the company and its late chairman, describing such actions as unjustifiable and distasteful.
“Hounding a deceased person cannot be justified. It is disgusting,” Joseph said, questioning the basis of the allegations against Roy. He firmly denied claims that Confident Group had cheated investors, stating that the company had not engaged in any smuggling or benami transactions.
Joseph clarified that the company was not facing any financial crisis. “The company does not have any debts, but on thecontrary, several parties owe money to the company,” he said, adding that misleading narratives were being deliberately created by certain online platforms, causing unnecessary distress.
