Christmas–New Year Bumper Lottery: 20 Crore Rupees Jackpot Won by Ticket XC 138455

Thiruvananthapuram: The Christmas–New Year bumper lottery draw has been held, with the first prize of 20 crore rupees won by ticket number XC 138455. The second prize of 1 crore rupees each has been awarded to 20 winners. According to reports, the first prize-winning ticket was sold by agent Sudheek in Kottayam.

As the third prize, 20 people will receive 10 lakh rupees each, while the fourth prize of 3 lakh rupees each will go to another 20 winners. The fifth prize carries 2 lakh rupees each for 20 winners. In addition, there are prizes of 5,000 rupees, 2,000 rupees, 1,000 rupees, 500 rupees and 400 rupees, taking the total number of prizes to 6,21,990, making the Christmas–New Year bumper one of the most attractive lotteries. Each ticket was priced at 400 rupees.

Initially, five lakh tickets were printed, but due to high demand, an additional five lakh tickets were released in the market. According to figures up to January 20, more than 48 lakh tickets have been sold. A total of 55 lakh tickets were printed, and indications suggest that nearly all of them have already been sold. In comparison, ticket sales last year stood at 47.65 lakh.
