Beypore is Changing Its Face: Cabinet Approves PPP Model Port Development

Kozhikode: Beypore Port boosts Malabar development, marking a major milestone. The cabinet has approved the public-private partnership (PPP) model, aiming to develop Beypore as a complete port city.

Tourism Minister P. A. Muhammed Riyas stated that this decision will lead to the state's economic and social prosperity. Thousands of people will gain employment, both directly and indirectly, through this developmental project. This change will also help to increase the income of those whose livelihood depends on the port.

People from all sectors were included in discussions regarding the port development, and it has been decided that their opinions will also be taken into account for the remaining steps.

Minister P. A. Muhammed Riyas extended his thanks to Port Minister V. Vasavan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for making Beypore's dream come true.
