Bomb Threat at Cliff House Traced to Coimbatore Email Source

Thiruvananthapuram: A bomb threat targeting Cliff House, the official residence of the Kerala Chief Minister, triggered a security sweep on Monday after an email containing the threat was received by the Chief Minister’s Office.
A bomb squad was immediately deployed to the residence, and police later confirmed that the threat was a hoax following a thorough inspection. The email was traced to Coimbatore, and police stated that similar threats had previously been sent from the same email ID.
This is not the first time such threats have occurred. Both Cliff House and the Thiruvananthapuram District Court have faced bomb threats earlier. In those instances as well, bomb squads conducted inspections but found no explosives.
