Actor Bhavana Attends Chief Minister’s Christmas Luncheon in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Bhavana was among the guests at the Christmas luncheon hosted by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. Education Minister V. Sivankutty shared photographs from the event on social media, in which the Chief Minister is also seen alongside the actor.

Sharing the images on Facebook, Sivankutty wrote that he was at the Chief Minister’s Christmas luncheon “along with the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Malayalam cinema’s pride, Bhavana.”

The luncheon was held in the afternoon at a private hotel in the state capital and was attended by religious leaders, social and cultural activists, political leaders and representatives from various sections of society.

Among those present were SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan, Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, Swami Gururatnam Jnana Tapaswi, ministers and other invited guests. Governor Rajendra Arlekar did not attend the luncheon as he was in Goa. The Chief Minister is expected to attend a separate Christmas luncheon being held at the Lok Bhavan.

Bhavana had earlier inaugurated the 26th International Film Festival of Kerala in 2022. She was unexpectedly invited to the stage by then Kerala State Chalachitra Academy chairman Ranjith, and her appearance was greeted with warm applause from the audience.
