Kochi: The Adani Group is going to invest Rs 30,000 crore in various projects Kerala in the next five years, including an additional investment of Rs 20,000 crore in Vizhinjam Port, said Mr Karan Adani, MD of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited (APSEZ), here in Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS 2025).

Noting that Vizhinjam places India at the heart of global commerce, Mr Adani said the Adani Group, which came at the helm of Vizhinjam Port in 2015, has already invested Rs 5,000 crore and an additional investment of Rs 20,000 crore will be done. Besides, the Group will be expanding the capacity of Trivandrum International Airport from 4.5 million to 12 million passengers, with an investment of Rs 5,500 crore, he revealed. Mr Adani informed that a Logistics and E-Commerce hub will be set up in Kochi and also increase its Cement capacity in the city.
