BJP Rule Ends in Muttholi; LDF Wins 11 of 14 Wards

Pala: The BJP suffered a heavy defeat in Kottayam’s Muttholi Panchayat. Out of the 14 wards, the LDF won in 11. The BJP managed to secure victory in only two wards. With this result, the LDF has effectively overturned the BJP’s previous term in power in Muttholi.

The BJP, which had won six wards in the last election, was reduced to just two this time. The UDF won one ward. Ward-wise winners:

*Ward 9 Panthathala: Lincy Raju(KCM)

* Ward 10 Muttholi: Jansi Jose (KCM)

* Ward 11 Muttholi South: Ruby Jose (KCM)

* Ward 12 Neyyoor: Rajimon Ikkara (KCM)

* Ward 13 Thekkummuri: Bibin Manuel (KCM)

* Ward 14 Thekkummuri North: Roshin Thomas (CPI M Independent)
