LDF Fully Prepared for Kerala Local Body Elections: TP Ramakrishnan

The Left Democratic Front (LDF) is fully prepared for the upcoming local body elections, said convenor T P Ramakrishnan. He stated that the LDF would highlight the achievements of the government and that Kerala’s future requires the continuation of the LDF’s governance.

He added that there are no disputes within the LDF regarding seat allocation. Those leaving other parties can be welcomed if they accept the LDF’s policies. However, there are no secret deals with anyone, and the LDF maintains ties only with secular parties. There will be no association with communal organisations. The Welfare Party and SDPI are aligned with the UDF, he noted.

Ramakrishnan reiterated that there is no change in CPI M’s stance on the SilverLine (SIR) project, and that all parties except the BJP share a similar view on the matter. However, he said it is too early to assess whether the SIR issue will have an impact in this election.
