Heavy Defeat: AICC Member Adv. E M Agasti Ends Political Career

Kattappana: Following a heavy defeat in the Kattappana Municipality elections, AICC member and former MLA Adv. E M Agasti has announced that he is ending his political career.

In a Facebook post, he stated that he will no longer take the stage but will remain in the audience. He added that he will no longer deliver speeches and will only be a listener. In the 22nd ward of Kattappana Municipality, Irupathekkar, CPI M’s C R Murali defeated E M Agasti by 303 votes, securing 244 votes against him.
