Young Man with Gun at Trump’s Residence Shot Dead by Security Officers

Washington: A gunman broke into Mar-a-Lago Resort, Donald Trump’s luxury residence, in Palm Beach, Florida. He was shot dead by security officers. The details of the assailant have not yet been released.

Mar-a-Lago is the resort where Trump mostly spends his weekends. However, at the time of the incident, he was at the White House. International news agencies confirmed that the attacker was killed by Secret Service agents and Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies.

The incident occurred early in the morning, around 1:30 a.m. local time. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the attacker was approximately 20 years old. The Secret Service stated that the FBI and other authorities are investigating the attacker’s background.
