Tel Aviv: A new video of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu interacting with civilians has been shared on his official account on X (Twitter), as speculation about his alleged death continues to circulate on social media.

In the footage, which lasts about 90 seconds, Netanyahu is seen walking outdoors in the Jerusalem Hills, speaking with residents, greeting people and admiring the surroundings. He also chats with locals about a dog they brought along and encourages people to step outside while ensuring they remain near protected spaces amid ongoing security concerns.

The video appears to be aimed at countering rumours circulating online that claimed the Israeli leader had been killed or seriously injured during the ongoing regional conflict. Similar claims had spread widely on social media platforms in recent days, prompting widespread speculation about his safety.

Earlier, Netanyahu had also shared another clip showing him at a cafe in Jerusalem, where he jokingly addressed the rumours about his death.

The rumours intensified after a previous video circulated online sparked conspiracy theories that it was artificially generated, with some users claiming visual irregularities in the clip. The Israeli prime minister’s office and diplomats have dismissed the claims as misinformation.

The video comes at a time when tensions remain high in West Asia following escalating hostilities between Israel-US and Iran, with governments across the region on heightened security alert.

Officials say the latest video is intended to reassure the public and counter online disinformation surrounding Netanyahu’s condition as the conflict continues.
