Kuwait Sounds 50 Airstrike Sirens, Responds to Missile Debris

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has reported that airstrike warning sirens had to be sounded 50 times in the country based on security conditions. Authorities also stated that 165 reports had been received regarding missile and drone debris falling in various areas of the country.

The Director General of the Public Relations and Security Media Division of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib, stated that the country's security situation is stable and that the security-defense systems are operating with utmost vigilance. He made these comments during a press conference organized by the Government Communication Center.

Following the reports regarding missile and drone debris, teams from the military, Ministry of Interior, and National Guard arrived at the locations and took the necessary actions, he stated.

Authorities urged the public not to believe rumors circulating on social media and to follow only official information. They also requested that if any suspicious objects are seen, they should immediately inform the emergency number 112.
