Cuba: Cuba has once again experienced a nationwide power outage, leaving more than a crore people in the dark. The Cuban Ministry of Energy is currently making intense efforts to restore the power system. The severe fuel crisis is attributed to the U.S. sanctions on oil imports from Venezuela.

Last Monday, the entire country faced a similar blackout. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel stated that an American attack on Cuba is expected. However, Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernandez de Cossio made it clear that Cuba would not change its political stance under U.S. pressure.

There are also reports suggesting that the U.S. has recommended the removal of the Cuban president. The Cuban government has blocked the delivery of the fuel required for the operation of the U.S. embassy in Cuba. To resolve the current energy crisis, two oil tankers from Russia are expected to arrive in Cuba in the coming days.
