Tehran: A massive explosion has rocked the Iranian capital, Tehran, during a large protest rally against the Israeli attack. The blast occurred at a rally attended by prominent leaders, including Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

One person was killed, and several others were injured in the explosion. The attack took place during a rally held in connection with Al-Quds Day, the last Friday of Ramadan. Thousands of people took to the streets, chanting slogans against Israel and the United States.

The sound of the explosion was heard while Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani was giving a speech. He responded by saying that such attacks reveal the cowardice of the enemy. In the past 24 hours, Israel had carried out airstrikes targeting over 200 military sites in Iran.

This explosion during the rally underscores the extremely serious internal situation in Iran as the war intensifies. There are reports of people rushing to withdraw deposits from banks and ration essential food items.
