Kollam:  At the inauguration of the CPI(M) state conference, a young girl from Idukki, Nihara Babu, arrived with her parents. But what set her apart wasn’t just her age—it was the camera she carried with her, capturing every moment with a keen eye. Nihara, a seventh-class student from Vellathooval Kunchithanny Government School, didn’t just attend the event; she became an integral part of it, by documenting the inaugural session.

As the inaugural speech concluded, she swiftly moved to the front of the stage, capturing the leaders' photos with her camera. Among the pictures she clicked were those of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Politburo members Prakash Karat and Brinda Karat, Subhashini Ali and many other prominent leaders. Her passion for photography shone through as she managed to document the event from her unique perspective.

The leaders, recognizing her dedication and enthusiasm, were quick to appreciate her. After the ceremony, Nihara received praise from the Chief Minister and the others present on stage. Filled with pride and joy, she left the venue having not only witnessed history but also played a role in preserving it through her lens.
