Alappuzha : A policeman’s body was found washed ashore on Alappuzha beach this morning. The deceased has been identified as ASI Febi Gonzalvez attached to AR Camp. Febi hails from Kanjiramchira in the district and was on duty till late evening yesterday.
The body was discovered around 8.30 this morning. When police arrived, they recognised his as one of their own. Prima facie the death appears to be a case of suicide however a probe into the demise is on, said police.
