Thiruvananthapuram : The accusation claiming there is rise in   murders and attacks in state, is totally unfounded, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Cm was  responding to the Adjournment Motion moved by N Shamsuddin in the Assembly on Wednesday.

“The Motion is rather a deflated one. It is  wishful thinking of the legislator that this land be plunged into  a  law and order-breakdown situation. A surprising feature about this Motion note is that makes no mention at all of gruesome murders carried out by your lot. It is only recently that Engineering student Dheeraj was murdered in Idukki college.  KSU leader himself admitted they had no role and that the killing was perpetrated by outside arrivals. It is a perfect example of your attempt to convert campuses into venues for violence,” said CM.

Lately, BJP-SDPI conflicts resulted in quite a few murders. Both SDPI and BJP workers will killed in Alappuzha.  And the Opposition, instead of condemning these instances, is attempting to fault police for the situation, said CM dismissing the contents of the Motion.
