THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : District Collector in Palakkad booked case against a Karakurishy native for roaming places despite being quarantined and eventually testing positive for coronavirus. Health officials are now struggling to prepare a route map given that it could be flawed from misleading or incomplete account.

The man arrived from Dubai at Karipur airport  on 13 March and was immediately quarantined. However, he flunked the strict instructions,  travelling to a variety of destinations including mosque and banks. Later, he  settled back into strict quarantining only on  21 March.

His son is a KSRTC conductor, the implications of which has appalled authorities. The son, an asymptomatic person, however has not tested positive so far. His route on duty comprises KSRTC ride on 17 March from Mannarcaud en route Athapaddi to Coimbatore and Palakkad-Thiruvananthapuram on 18 March.
