PT7 Retreats Deeper Into Forest; Day’s Mission To Capture Tusker Ends

Palakkad : Today’s efforts to capture PT7 comes to a close after the wild tusker mves himself out deeper into the forest. Heading the 72-member Rapid Response Team(RRT) is Dr Arun Zakaria . Three Kunki elephants(decoys) accompanied the team that reached the forest stretch 4 am Saturday morning.

RRT had placed PT7 under surveillance from early morning hours but he receded further and further as mission gained momentum The Kunkani elephants have been pulled back, as the team called it a day.
