Kozhikode :Youth League All India General Secretary, CK Subair, resigns. The self-removal follows mounting efforts from a section of Youth League to incriminate him in the Khatua-Unnao Fund fraud.
Accusation is rife that party leadership seeks to save prominent leaders including state general secretary PK Firoz from likely charges in the case. Based on internal groupism, efforts are reportedly underway to scapegoat Subair so the leaders involved can come clean before State hits election. According to sources, the party leadership is currently heaping further allegations against Subair.
Ousting Subair is reportedly part of a ploy hatched by a section of Youth League with help from a few party seniors and Subair is said to have offered resignation on scenting broader conspiracy.
Subair has handed his resignation to League state president Hyderali Shihab Thangal .However, neither Subair or other Youth League leaders have responded on development so far.
