Hospitalisation : There currently are a total of 1,21,458 active covid cases, of which only 3.7%, owing to need for added care, are being treated at hospitals.
Testing : 69,373 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Deaths : There were 18 covid deaths confirmed during the day taking the death toll so far to 50,904.

Contact cases: There were 22,179 contact cases today of which source of infection to 442 were unknown.

Quarantine: A total of 2,41,087 people are under observation currently of whom, 5057 remain quarantined various hospitals and the remaining 2,36,030 are being monitored in their homes/institutions. 5057 people were newly admitted into hospitals during the day.
