Kochii : Minister for Health and Family Welfare Veena George inaugurated Kitchen Treasures’ new 1-lakh-sq-ft state-of-the-art factory at Pancode near Kolenchery, 24 kms from here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Mani, CEO and Managing Director, Intergrow Brands Pvt Ltd, promoter of Kitchen Treasures brand, said the new factory has been set up with an investment of Rs.40 cr and production capacity of 1500 metric tons per month. At the function, Kitchen Treasures brand ambassador Manju Warrier launched Premium Chilli Powder, a new offering from the brand. Ashok Mani said the core value behind the growth of the 9-year-young brand has been its utmost care to product quality and hygiene which have been given the prime focus while setting up the new plant with the most modern machinery and technologies. “We are a 250-products brand now with more than 5 million loyal customers across the word serviced through over 50,000 outlets. We attribute this success to our religious commitment to hygiene and quality, which is ensured through proven processes, technologies and best possible human care,” he said.
To carry forward its commitment to this, the company has also launched a 5-point transparency program called “G.R.E.A.T Promise” in its effort to listen to the consumer and work towards matching their expectations. Through the Great promise initiative, customers are able to watch the various production processes live through cameras installed at the new unit, visuals of which are available during working hours on www.kitchentreasures.in. In addition to this, customers can also visit the factory in person by registering on the website.
“As chilli powder is one of the largest selling segments of all spice and masalas products, we are empowering the consumer to view the various quality parameters of the batch of chilli they have purchased through ‘Know Your Chilli’ feature under this initiative. By entering the batch number data into our website, the customers can ensure the authenticity and extent of the product quality by themselves,” Ashok Mani added. As the fifth point, the brand will also be offering a live communication channel via whatsapp for immediate response to the customers.
Kitchen Treasures being a brand that already has the largest sales team among all homegrown fmcg companies from Kerala, this new factory will additionally generate more than 100 new job opportunities. With increased capacities, new products and a focused approach in new markets, the brand expects to achieve a sales of figure of more than 300 Cr in FY2023-24.
