NEW DELHI : CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury in his letter, called upon the Opposition party leaders for a discussion over guidelines prepared by the party to resolve miseries brought down by the pandemic and continued lockdown. The topic will be tabled via video conferencing. The date and time for the meeting shall be fixed once approval from leaders come through, Yechury said.
Invitees include Sonia Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, Akilesh Kumar, MK Stalin, TR Balu, Thejaswi Yadav, Sharad Yadav, D Raj, Deepanker Bhattacharya, Debabhadra Biswas and Manoj Bhattacharya. The guidelines comprise 17 suggestions, a copy of which has also been submitted to the Prime Minister.
