NEW DELHI; The talks attempted for the 11th time between central government and protesting farmers too  have failed. The leaders from farm organisations stood their ground that the three anti-farmer laws must be repealed while centre remained adamant on retaining them. The talks were held at Vigyan Bhavan.

The government had earlier  informed its willingness to freeze implementation of the laws for one-and-half years. However the farmers contended that it was not freezing but withdrawing that they commonly sought in demand. On Republic Day, the farmers are set to conduct tractor rally in the capital.
