Thiruvananthapuram:  Minister V Sivankutty said he acknowledges court ruling facouring trial in the 2015 case on protests in the Assembly. Life is a constant battle for a communist, said the minister, adding that the battles are fight against corruption and injustice in the society.

I have been into protests since my student days and have undergone punishments on that count. I take to protests fully aware that there is likelihood for  punishment. A protest is often   directed against a given government and exploitation in the society, meaning it  could potentially lead to conflict and there could be  court interventions. I fully accept the court judgment and will face trial in line with the ruling, said the minister.
