Kochi : Kerala received far less quantities of vaccines, observed the High Court on Friday and asked Centre to inform when it would supply the required doses to state. Responding to Centre’s plea for more time, the court asked it to detail what vaccine quantities would be sent when, in its schedule for Kerala.
The hearing came over petition filed by former president of Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad(KSSP), KP Aravindan, questioning Centre’s vaccine policy and calling for uniformity in vaccine prices for state and transfer of vaccine manufacturing technology to institutions including KSSP.
The court also Centre why it did not publish the vaccine detail list allocated to Kerala. The court further asked the Centre to submit affidavit on the matter.
