Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala figures among top states on the national Good Governance Index recently published by Centre - a feat made known by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on CM’s official page.
Kerala ranks first for exemplary governance among states in south India. Growing by leaps and bounds on commercial-industrial front, Kerala’s score for ease-of-doing-business jumped from 44.82 on the index to 85 points now. With exception to Punjab, Kerala is the only state that improved on this score. The annual industrial growth rate in Kerala rose to 7.91 for 2021 from 1.00 in 2019.
